The next thought in “The secrets of life…” series concentrates on something we all seem to struggle with from time to time: focus. Our time and attention are being pulled in different directions, professionally and personally, and our entire day can be derailed by miscues. But, only if you let it. Read on.
Focus on the solution, not the problem
This phrase is a combination of two influences, one a book I read, and another from a sermon I heard a few months back. If you focus on what’s wrong, that’s all you’re ever likely to see. It’ll consume you. Assess the problem, and then start thinking of how to correct it. You must think positively in order to have a positive outcome.
Further, “if you have time to worry, you have time to pray.” Now, we’re all different in our spiritual choices, but the same rule applies. Focus on the positive, seek assistance if
/when needed, and you’re one step closer to remedying the situation.
Life is about making choices. I chose to choose. What will YOU do?
